Lax standards of school discipline make pupils more likely to turn to crime and drugs, Government research has revealed
is it me? Today I read of two young teenagers (girls) trying to mug a young mum and punching her 2-year old child. Then I go on to read about another mum who threatened her kids with a hiding if they didn't behave in the supermarket, who was trailed home by an off-duty policeman and later received a visit from police and a letter from the social services - we see how they turn out when they're not disciplined but we aren't allowed to discipline them?
Get rid of labour and all the rubbish that go with them like human right/ liberty and the anti normall person brigade .
my kids no right from wrong. As a parent I have a duty to teach them respect, respect to people who are trying to help them make a better life for themselves like teachers. I feel sorry for the teachers how can they teach someone respect who is not taught it at home first.
It is this goverments fault and only this goverments fault with all the legislations they impose.
Every child should be beaten by the Headmaster (or any teacher) as in the old days when children respected their superiors. I am fed up with insolent little toerags running around the streets like they own the place with full support of the law (and they know it and their rights!). They wonder why their is no law and order. A good thrashing every so often would do them (and more importantly, us) the world of good.
school is not the place to learn respect, home is where you learn respect, how can you learn respect from your mother or father if they are druggies or drunks, take the children from them and sterilise them before they inflict a crap life on any more children, I know 1 so called mother who has had '6' children taken and is now in jail(again) for drug offences, no doubt shell come out and get pregnant yet again only so she can have yet another council house and wont have to go work, its just madness and cruel to the children.
"Confidence" is now a main aim in education which is fine as we all want our children to be confident. However there is no "brake" on this learning which can quickly (if not moderated) turn to downright selfish arrogance
