The Home Office has announced a review of its drug advisory body in the wake of the row over the sacking of Professor David Nutt
I know its late in the day but i just want to make a point that i dont think anyone has mentioned .To all of those people put there who say cannabis is a waste of space and generaly of no use to the country well what about all of the head shops across uk and for those who are not shure what ahead shop is its them shops that sell pipe,s bongs spliff papers basically all the associated things you need to smoke cannabis. Some of them have been around along time paying anual revenue to the taxman so if the realy was acase for getting rid of cannabis then maybe the gov, should set the example and stop accepting this money wich i am sure is a tidy penny.
Gordon Brown has been reported in the press as saying cannabis is now adulterated with other substances, does he not realise this is the result of the production and supply being in the hands of criminal gangs.Has he not also seen what is happening in the u.s.a. with many states legalising medicinal use.Is the cannabis over there somehow different to the cannabis over here or is he just got his head stuck in a very dark place.
Schitzophrenia and paranoia is associated with cannabis But do users listen? NO...Theres your answer.......Not every one takes advice, good or bad...
jc, if the government DID listen to the public opinions expressed here and sky news, then they would soon change their tune. whichever party legalises drugs would probably win the election hands down!
What the home office are really saying is.... we don't agree so we'll change those offering advice........... I agree totally in harm reduction as the answer to these ills........ call an early election before these incompetent politicians do any more harm.....
