   No Kevin, it may be the society you have created but dont tar eveyone. I was born 46 years ago on a council estate, my parents did not have much money but they did teach us manners and disipline. I have worked hard all my life again not for big bucks, i have two teenage daughters one 22years old and one at 19, tthey do not have any kids yet because that to them is the right thing to do. I have taugh my kids right from wrong, just the other night down our road a young kid no older than 15 was shouting at a man in his own garden, the man is in his eighties. Maybe National Service is the answer.

   People today move on to different areas more than perhaps 40yrs ago. So no one would suspect anything and specially in a city or large town. An elderly person often moves to another town or even country to be closer to their family. Tragic as it is, it's easy to understand how it's happened.

   Sheila from Manchester, why are you blaming Maggie, I bet you do not look out for any of your neighbours, get a life the people responsible are those in the council, the gas and electricity people who should have been reading her meter and asking why the bills were not paid.

   This is so sad, as well as being disgraceful. What on earth were her neighbours doing all this time. Infact they are not worth the name of neighbours are they? perhaps one day they will need some ones help and I hope they do not get it. I don't know your name old lady but, God bless and rest in peace now.

   Luckily my street people do look out for one another. everybody knows each other. if some one has,nt been seen for a while a neighbour will call round to see if thet person is alright.
