The number of swine flu cases could reach more than 100,000 per day by the end of next month, Health Secretary Andy Burnham has told the Commons

I work at supermarket and shockingly I've not seen anything being done to help combat swine flu, all I have seen is posters that say catch it kill it and bin it.
Yeah.. big help.
I would have expected pocket moisturisers or something.
To be fair I do tend to wash my hands alot more now.
I had the symptoms appear on Wednesday and was fortunate enough to be prescribed tamiflu. It's Saturday morning and I can honestly say apart fron the very heavy feeling in my limbs and the overiding need to sleep every couple of hours, the horrendous headache, muscle aches and sore throat have gone. It all came on very quickly and had I had a say in it and hubby had not rung the doctor whilst I was asleep and very unwell on Wenesday I would have just gone back to work on Friday feeling grotty. The children and hubby went to school and work on Thursday as the GP said that there was no point excluding contacts, hubby gort to stay at work but the two schools freaked out and sent my healthy kids home as soom as they arrived with a letter explaining mum was unwell. GP'S say carry on as normal and schools say keep contacts at home. Hubby's work have said if he is off work because they freak he will have to be unpaid as it is carers leave so to stay at work till he gets any symptoms, if he does. Anyway felt rotten for two days and now feeling very tried but much better. I9f people get it like I did it will continue to spread as there is no joined up thinking between local councils, schools, g.p's and the workplace at large. Less panic please.
oh here we go, are we going to have a running commentary every time some poor soul dies from swine flu? What about the deaths today from cancer, heart disease,MS,parkinsons, etc, etc, are we going to report on all those too?No, because its all part and parcel of life.A doctor once told me by the time a cure is found for cancer, then there will be something equally deadly to take its place! That said, come on ppl, if you feel well today, get on with living, instead of listening to scaremongers.
swine flu cant be contained its not if i get it but when but most strong healthy people will be ok id rather have it now than in the winter months when other bacterias around just try to keep yourselves well
