Two police dogs have died after overheating in a parked car
if the handler isnt tried because he is a policeman then get him as a private citizian since at the time he wasnt on duty and the dogs were in his car. If that fails take him to court for 2 counts of distroying police property.
theo from telford. with you all the way ! any member of the public having done the same, would have been in court by now !!! the police are no different !!! when are we going to be given the facts, about what he has been charged with etc. ?????????????????????
the police and rspca are still silent, looks like the making of a cover up !
Apparently, the dogs were in a Private car & NOT a properly equipped Police van.....And Notts Police wonder why "Joe Public" has no faith in them?.....Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE that an EXPERIENCED Officer was so thick as to realise what consequences leaving dogs in a car,on such a hot day, would mean!!!
SACK HIM & PROSECUTE HIM!!!
I hope the RSPCA is pressing charges. The law is the law and it should be across the board!!!!! This handler is supposed to be a professional? These dogs were members of the police force I hope they are going to discipline this person. After all a lot of tax payers money was used to train these animals
