Disgraceful. I always imagined police dogs would get the best of canine care. Not so in this case. The poor animals.

Lets see if the person responsible gets either a £20K fine and/or 6 months in prison, yeah I am not holding my breath either.

Let's face it, there's always been one rule for us and one for them. Unless these two get a long ban from keeping another dog, get the sack and a hefty fine, we'll know there's no justice.

How can they have left their dogs in a car on a hot day - I would not leave a child in a car on their own yet alone an animal. I thought Police Officers were trained - they should have known better - the dogs never asked for this job and through this Officers actions they are now dead. No animal or human being should be treated in this way. I hope they get the sentence they deserve.

The policeman responsible for these dog's deaths, should be put in a car with temperatures of 40 + degrees, and see how he feels. People that inflict pain on animals, should be made to suffer in the same way! He won't be punished, it's the same old story, a law for us, and a law for them. Give me a dog any day, much better than some of the 'humans' I have encountered in my life!!
