Is my hearing and sight going or what?
Ive just heard on the news and read in the papers that the MPs have voted my a winning majority of 3 votes NOT to clean up the MPs allowances and overhaul the House of Commons.
They havnt changed much have they. When the next election comes round, make sure you ask your MP if he voted for or against the cleanup. They check with the Standards Committee in Westminster
if the information your MP have given to see if its correct. If the answer
is YES as to it being correct and NO to cleaning up the Allowances scandel, then DonT vote for him, otherwise you ae as bad as they are,
teh gang of thieves, talk about ALI BABA and the 40 thieves!

Innocent until proven guilty still carries the day, so don't let's rush to judgement before the outcome is known. And anyway, should any MP contravene the new code of conduct, the penalty of up to 12 months imprisonment announced by Gordon Brown will NOT APPLY because Jack straw deleted that penalty it in order to get unanimous cross party agreement - so the worse fate that awaits any MP who defaults is a very red face !

not only are they theives but traitors as well Professor Matthews’ test was conducted over a three year period using first year university students, who presumably would have been the most read of the younger generation.
only 15.5 percent of students knew that the Duke of Wellington was in charge of the army at the Battle of Waterloo. 34.5 percent knew who the reigning monarch was when the Spanish Armada attacked Britain and only 11.5 percent could name one British prime minister in the 19th century.
only 40.5 percent could say what Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s profession was and a shocking 69.4 percent had no idea where the Anglo-Boer War was fought.
Professor Matthews, who lectures in economic history said, in a report on what he called the ‘death’ of school history teaching, that students in a typical tutorial had never heard of the Reformation and did not know what was meant by the term Protestant.
one thought Martin Luther was an American civil rights leader. His students were probably in the top 15 percent of their age group for educational success, he added.
“This implies that, all things being equal, 85 percent of my undergraduates’ age group know even less than they do.
“In other words, we are looking at a whole generation that knows almost nothing about the history of their (or anyone else’s) country. This is an outrage and should be intolerable.”
It is clear that the extremist leftists who run Britain’s educational system have engaged in a deliberate programme to rid British children of any sense of national identity, history or worth.

And he's on offer as our next Chancellor of the Exchequer! Even the slightest whiff of impropriety ought to be sufficient to make him stand aside. Fat chance in today's amoral Parliament!
