   wether you like it or not Ronnie Biggs is a British citizen, thats come back to Britain to face the music, and yes get some free medical care, just like all the east European criminals fleeing the Authorities in their own lands, we welcome all, no matter how bad and useless they are and how our Govt emmediately looses track of these foriegn criminals, Biggs is no longer a threat to anyone, how many MP's have been to prison for wrongful acts? and are now back in the Govt? one old and sick man should be allowed to live out his last days at home, and cotrary to what has already been said on here, Myra Hindley was due for Parole in 2006, had she lived she would be free now, check your facts.

   I can't make up my mind if he should finish his sentence as he only came back when he was desperate, or wether we should let him out and give his cell to someone dangerous. Let's face it, Biggs is hardly a threat now is he?

   I totally agree with akie from vie..And what a time were going to have when jack Straw finaly gets caught like the rest with his hand in our pockets.,having like the others taken us for mugs.dangerous games Jack,You could find yourself where Bigsy's been..and Joe Public won't forget that. We Grandparents can be very unforgiving..and the young even more unmerciful and don't forget also tomorrows voters...More of them now than ever...and they have become very political and fed up with their lot and looking to kick someone into touch .so watch where the boot comes from....Get real.. Wasting more of our money..let Biggs do his time..Long or short ..it was his choice.In todays terms that robbery was over 100000000£..We all dream of big wins or money but don't go out and rob.They were all chancers and got caught...

   Joe from Kent - couldn't agree with you more. He only came back 'cos he was broke and ill and wanted treatment on the NHS - till then he was defiant towards us. He is no longer a danger to public but should serve out his sentence. Having said this what about all the other murders who are let out early and reoffend - time the Government sorted them out. I know Ronnie did not kill anyone but a man was seriously hurt in this robbery and that deserves a stiff sentence of which Ronnie only served 15 months before escaping and living it up in Brazil while the train driver suffered - I say Ronnie Biggs deserves all he gets and I hope Jack Stray does not do a u-turn on his decision.
