The IMF has repeatedly warned the uk over the size of its deficite. it said yesterday that as a result of the recession the uk faces the biggest projected budget of any of the G20 countries, amounting to 13.3% of GDP in 2010 compared with 9.7% in the US. In May, Standard and Poor warned that our rating might go down to 2 AA`s raising the prospect of an exodus of investors from sterling and the uk. But we are on the edge. What a state this once great country is in.

charan....how wrong ......when labour came to power the interest payments on tory debt was actually more than the whole education bill...brown got us out of that....he even paid more debt back...that is why today even under the preesnt circumstance we are still a AAA rating for credit....clarke in 1996/97 was borrowing at 41% of gdp whereas brown at his highest in 2007/8 was at 38%.....osbourne and cameron panicked with the break of credit crunch and said they would co-operate with labour ..which lastest 2 weeks until they could think of something ..labour over one weekend saved the rock and stopped a definite banking collapse of this country.....get the figures first get the right info and then say who would be disastrous.......
