   I`ts a small price to pay for keeping our country a democracy, fair enough we should cut back on some of the royal hanger-ons, but just look at the American system where a President with all his security, secret service, private jet, different departments to run, White House staff etc. etc. cost them millions and in return are hated throughout the world, our Monarchy are welcomed and respected because they are not politically involved, they give joy and excitment whenever and wherever they travel throughout the Globe.

   I somewhat agree with Joy from North Shields. I would rather have a Queen than the thieves we have in our Parliament. Wouldn't trust any one of them. I don't however, believe we should have to keep all the other "hanger's on". The rest of the Royals should only be paid for any public duties performed or get a job.
