   Will. i think you will find that alcohol, smoking etc. are heavily, heaavily taxed in this coountry, therefore more than pay their way. that said your argument is ridiculous.    Timer from Gt Britian, we benefit far more from the EU than its actual cost, which is £10 million a day. Now if you'd look at alcohol, that costs us far more than the benefits it gives. It costs the NHS alone £10 million a day. And if you count the total cost then it is many times that. So given it costs a lot more than the EU and causes untold suffering, should we ban all alcohol?
