    Brian from north......who helped us to defeat Germany & Japan in WW2? Europe? - they had already caved in or were neutral. It was the Russians, the Americans and people from our (at that time) empire - Canadians, Australians, Indians etc etc. It was fortunate for us at that time we were an island not joined to Europe, and had the right man leading us.
