Temperatures plunged to nearly 12C 104F across southern England after the coldest night of the country's freezing spell
Its nice to see someone on here from Wales not complaining about the cold! it must be all the handouts in form of free prescriptions for cold remedies
WHY KEEP SAYING ;HOW ABOUT THE RUSSIANS ETC THEY ARE BORN TO IT , Don'T KNOW ANY DIFFERENT
I love the cold weather. I made a huge saucepan of veggie soup yesterday (home-made). There really is nothing better than coming in from the cold to a steaming bowl of hot soup or a lovely hot chocolate with cream on the top. You cannot do that when the sun is shining can you...well you could if you wanted to but it's not the same is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mary from devon - if you live in a big house and cannot afford the heating bills, move to a smaller house!
chris from boro - i'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't believe the media driven crap about how humans are to blame about global warming!
i dont see why people are complaining about a bit of cold, how do you think people in norway and russia and other places cope???
all we have had is a bit of ice and snow and the world stops. if you're cold - turn the heating up. if you can't afford to turn your heating up, wear a few more layers.
some people just cannot be pleased - one minute it's too cold, the next minute it's too hot.
if everyone else in colder countries can deal with it, we can too.
We are on the same latitude as Moscow & it is only the gulf stream that keeps the uk warm. That is shifting so it should get colder.
