Temperatures plunged to nearly 12C 104F across southern England after the coldest night of the country's freezing spell
mel price from yorkshire, would you ask her where she gets her fags and drinks from it costs me £ 70.00 a week for fags and at least £100,00 for booze you must live in bahamas to get this price
Cave!! You were lucky! We used to brave 12ft snow drifts and -20 temperatures with nothing more than a shoebox to live in, sharing with 15 other families... in the morning we had to eat tunnels through the snow to the workhouse where we licked the floor clean for our supper...
when we were kids the snow was 6 feet deep all winter long. we lived in a cave no radio, tv, no heating. dad used to use a belt on us to keep us warm. oh they were wonderful days in the 1950's.
Global Warming I presume! It been like this since the Russians dropped the iron Curtain and allowed the winds from Siberia to blow across Europe. At least the energy companies will make a god profit!!!
mel price there is nothing you can do but what you are doing in this cold weather keep an eye on her, i hope she does get back to work. to every one else keep an eye on all the vulnerable people in your area.
