i never felt the cold when i was a litttle girl running in the snow and playing - i wonder if its because our house wasnt much warmer in the old days befor central heating or is it that clothes are thinner and better quality??? well they were not made in india then

Why is it, as soon as temperatures drop below freezing, councils etc can not cope. We all know we live in a cold climate, yet when it freezes councils shut schools because it is cold, electricity fails, prices rise so that we pay more for our utilities, which intern do not improve. People come here from warmer climates because they know this country will house them and clothe them, and give them money for nothing. Time for labour to go.
