I Dont understand why social serice's are suddenly to blame in this case thier realy is only one person to blame, and that is shannon's mother well (monster) really this the problem in this country thier are a lot off bad people who should not have children that is what we try to put out off our head but it's the truth, and it is a great shame thier is nothing we can do to stop them having children. If this ahd been a man their would not have been all this fuss it's because it's a woman who's done it and we dont want to belive that is posible that a mother could do this to here own child but belive me women can be the worse and get away with it far more than men, because most off the the time it's mental crutly with women not just physical, and yet for some strange reason this shocks us.
ANY WAY STOP BLAMING SOCIAL WORKERS ALL THE TIME.
except in this case that that karen mathews was just an eveil women.
and sentence to her to life in prison and i mean life and none off this mental illness crap either.

Why a Review?.... Doesn't this happen every time there is publicity, they don't work, they are waste of money. Are lessons actually learnt from them.????
I see it on the estate where I live. Skanky women who have 1 child a year while they are still capable of giving birth. The Family Allowance and Tax Credits must be huge when you have 7 or 8 kids, why go to work? You can sit on your arse all day with a fag in your mouth while your unkempt children run amok around the estate collecting asbo's.
Maybe after 2 children Family Allowance should be stopped for non working families. And they should only get it back after they show a willingness to get off their backsides.
The reason these women keep on having kids is so they don't have to work. Their daughters see the behaviour of the mother and think that its OK to be like that so by the time they get to 16 they start the cycle again by having kids. NOT GOOD
The superiors within the Social Services need to start listening to the people on the front line and stop letting them take the blame for their inability to do the job they are paid for.
    PROTECTING CHILDREN.
