has everyone lost their SOH? ross and brand made a joke. it was funny at the time and they have apolozized. if we said it to a neighbour or a friend, it would b funny. it certainly wouldnt make national headlines. yes the amount of money is absurd when you consider that makin people laugh is worth more than doctors and nurses and other specialist jobs. i watch ross and i think he is very funny but i also accept that sumtimes he is a bit OTT. its what we expect from him. when you watch, have i got news for you, and 8 out of ten cats and all those other quiz shows hosted by comedians, the things they come out with are just the same, but because we like certain hosts, we accept and tolerate more. this shouldnt even be news now. whats done is done and there r far more important things going on in the world than a stupid careless mistake from ross and brand. i always used to buy newspapers but when i see the headlines like this being the most important thing in the world, i dont bother. its ridiculous that people wanna waste their time goin over and over this. its done. if people dont like ross, they dont have to watch him or listen to him. its simple. keep the content of his shows til after the watershed whether its radio or tv and there shouldnt b a problem.

Has anyone read the Sunday Mail about who should take over from Ross. Why not have a vote on the suggestions made, Come on Virgin Media get in on the act, I am sure that there would be a few surprises.

I never liked this guy and never watch any of his programmes anyway, like me and most people on this forum I expect none of you even heard the live broadcast.
I’ve now heard the recording to see what all the fuss was about and agree it was childish and it should never have gone out on air.
What has come out of this is the ridiculous amount of money that he is paid when there are far better presenters than him around, I’m sure when he returns to our TV sets this has done some damaged to his reputation, if the viewing figures drop then obviously the BBC will have to look at this guy’s future.
This could turn round the other way and he may return as a hero – lets wait & see

He was the funniest thing on Friday night!!! If you want cutting edge TV then you have to accept that sometimes it may cross the boundaries of decency. I worry that this may result in TV producers choosing the easy -listening version of TV that fails to entertain.
