If people stop and READ the copyright law, it says, "You may make 1 copy of this disk for personal use only!" By stopping us make a copy of any disk, by any means is an infringement of OUR rights!
I have just bought a a film supposedly made by SonY that will NOT even play on my Laptop, PC or either of my disk loading TV's. The only thing it played on was a cheap, (£35), OLD dvd player that came out of my attic!! REMIND ME NEVER TO BUY ANYTHING SonY AGAIN!
PERHAPS THAT MAY BE THE ANSWER Don'T BUY ANY BIG NAME BRANDS!

They internet providers are in an ackward position if they enforce this by stopping your internet then they will lose revenue so it this might all be an empty gesture to the music industry .I am not aware of how they will stop us downloading music i am only guessing here but will they just block a site or pull the plug completely

Its Theft and should be outlawed it is stealing someones work and not paying for it your probably thinking they can afford it thats irrelevant its like you working for me for nothing.
I sympathise with the music makers just lok at all the record shops that dont exist anymore because of illegal theft of music.
I saw somebody write Sony are hypocrits selling burners and CDRs they do i agree to copy the Cd you bought from a retailer or to burn the one you bought online.
I am a DJ I am sick of mobile djs that steal their music then go out on a Saturday night for £40.
