Businesses are urged to give workers time off to attend stop smoking clinics. The guidance body on public health recommends workers - many of whom already enjoy cigarette breaks throughout the day - should not lose pay if they need help. What do you think of the proposal?
They started this filthy habit by themselves so they can stop it the same way. Who would do their work when they were given this time off? Some hard working non smoker, no doubt.
As a smoker I think it is a great idea, BUT it is so unfair to everybody else, no I should do it in my own time.
no ...... they are not paided to smoke so make then take a days holiday ... so will work pay me to stop drinking i don,t think so ........
What a load of cobblers!!!
NO, NO, AND THRICE NO!!! What next from the cretins in charge?? I shudder to think.
