Defence Secretary Des Browne has taken the blame after two of the sailors captured by Iran sold their stories saying "ultimately, the buck stops here".
Conservative leader David Cameron has demanded an inquiry and Mr Browne himself has said, "clearly with hindsight I could have made a different decision".
Should Des Browne resign over the decision to allow the sailors to sell their stories? Do you agree with the angry backlash that has greeted the publication and broadcast of the accounts? Do the sailors have every right to profit from their captivity or does it set a dangerous precedent? Let us know what you think.
Labour .... the party that looks after its own scandals, pensions etc.. get them out and stay out make this country what it should be for the average man not to make the fat cats fatter
More than half of this government should have resigned through their gross ineptitude. Des Browne is just the latest. As for the 15 "servicemen" they are nothing more than a sign of our times. They came across pathetic and wimpish which just mirrors our current government. As an ex-serviceman it pains me to express this feeling.
all ( bliars ? government can do all the time is just that only a compleat fool would say he did not know and if you trust a fool then you would trust any one including blairs government which makes you one too
GO GO GO as soon as possible..............
