Bill - It's pretty evident to me that Branson lost interest in music a long time ago. When he first started his record label, he had all these weird records on it - I liked weird records but some of them were even too way out for me. When punk came out he had his finger on the pulse and signed great bands like The Ruts, The Skids, Penetration etc - but he hasn't done anything since - he's too interested in airlines and balloons. It's a shame cause his radio station is pants and has the opposite ideas to when the Virgin label started
