Which albums do you think deserve a place amongst our classic album profiles? What defines "classic"? Do you disagree with any of our choices? Have your say.
I think Twilight, with various artists, is going to have good innings if people really listen to it.
For any album to be considered "classic" it has to meet any number of variable factors; have great music, lyrics, (with each track a good one, no filler), represent the time it was released yet seem "timeless", great cover, production....there are so few albums which achieve all of these. Stones-Exile, Who-Quadrophenia, Floyd-The Wall, Pistols-NMTB, Clash-London Calling, Bowie-Ziggy Stardust, Oasis-Definately Maybe, Guns n' Roses-Use your Illusion.....

`Bat Out Of Hell` by Meat Loaf. Still an absolute classic. It`s got everything. Brilliant songwriting, great guitars, terrific vocals plus one of the most iconic album covers ever. A gothic masterpiece!
the best thing about any album has got to be its front cover, if the bird is flaunting all her gorgeous big fat breasts, thats the one that makes the album fantastic
