   This might be a hackneyed choice but Suzanne by Leonard Cohen has got to be the all time wrist slasher. Most of the Smiths oeuvre must be up there too

   But that James Blunt song is truly depressing but not in a good way, just because it is so immature and whingey it makes you want to jump out the window. I find it hard to believe that it is one of the most chosen songs for funerals of a Lover/Spouse etc
   Plus he sounds like he has been electrocuted or something
   Who else sings in that awfully fake strangulated voice?
   Well, apart from Sting, who sings in a faux Jamaican accent.
   Sing in your own accent - I hate fakers!
   But the great British public, at large, have never had any decent taste in music
