From smash to trash

Which once great bands or artists do you think lost their edge and now belong in pop purgatory? Do you agree with our Smash or trash choices?

Metalmagik from xyz, I completely disagree with you that all of Oasis's albums sound the same. They are a classic example of a truly amazing band, whose songs were astounding, both lyrically and musically. Just because you're too simple-minded to appreciate music that is truly impactive and over-all exceptional... It's people like you that have been brainwashed by rap or metal or whatever who fail to truly appreciate good music. I'm not saying that things like rap and metal aren't music (though they certainly aren't my taste), but that doesn't mean things like classic pop-rock are boring or generic-sounding. Loud and pounding drums, fast, slamming guitars, and screaming vocals don't make a good song. But, sadly, so many people these days fail to see past those kinds of things...

Black Lace. Well, when the pinnacle of your career is Agadoo, anything you do after that just isn't going to live up to it.
