Emo: just rock music or a 'suicide cult'?

Emo: just rock music or a 'suicide cult'?

Are you a fan of emo music and fashion, or do you side with The Daily Mail in thinking that it's a cause for concern amongst parents and communities?

*sighs*. Labeling, i dont believe in it, what good comes? but you should learn to repsect others for what they are, MCR fans (being being a die-hard fan) had every right, to march into the daily mails offices about that story, hannah bond has serous problems, and mcr did not kill her, MCR help a lot of kids trough tough times, and emo is emotional, if music isnt emotional, then its just a bunch of words crammed together to make a jingle. And a quote from gerard way, lead singer of my chem 'Emo, is a , its nothing like when i was growing up, its a pain of jeans a haircut', does that answer your stupid question? MCR arent emo, an anti-suicide band, their lyrics are METAPHORS! and all have meaning, unlike todays pop, where they pay others to write songs for them. If yoiur going to insult a sub-genre, insult chavs, what have emo's ever done wrong? on the news, what are the people wearing who are getting arrested? ah yes, burberry, who wears that CHAVS! maybe if people werent so hard on emo's, then they wouldnt be as emo!
You are what you are, I'm proud of what i am, and so should everyone else, its things like these articles that get people down about who they are, their image, you should think twice about what you write before you write it.
MCR peace! (its the best kind)

idk if that was serious feature, or another 'funny' clip. It's very very general, and I hope ppl who are dealing with Emo kids take more interest in what's Emo about, than general clips. I write articles on Emo culture and community on www.littleblackcherry.co.uk I know it's how they express their feelings and emotions

I listen to so called "emo" music and I don't slit my wrists or wear dark clothes or any of the other stereotypes associated with it. Just because some people are like that doesn't mean you should think that of all people who listen to mcr, panic or any other "emo" band. I know for a fact that there are people who fit the stereotype better than me that don't even listen to "emo"............................so there =P
