Madonna's turn as Eva Peron in Evita was a solid effort. Now for the bad news – it's a rare gem in a catalogue of bad performances. As a fencing instructor in Bond flick Die Another Day she was wretched, while her appearance in hubbie Guy Ritchie's horrific Swept Away was so awful she vowed never to act again. Phew.
Most 50 year olds I know look BETTER than madonna. She should look a lot less scraggy with all that money she has. She's soulless, humourless, unsexy, conceited, can't sing, copies every trend going because she hasn't got a style of her own and thinks acting means batting your eyelashes. She's trying way, way too hard. A real 50 year old singer can go on for ever (Billie Holiday and many others), sadly her lack of talent means she's reached desperation level with the gimmicks. Give up, stay home and read those godawful books to your kids (complete with flowery frock).
Well said Seonaid from Southend!
Question for all those who are ripping Madonna to pieces - How rich and famous are You compared to Her? Does SHE work in a factory? In an office? No. And that's because unlike you and me, she's made it. You can carry on being jealous all your lives, or you can say Good Luck to her.
You whinging bunch of woosies. Many enjoy Madonna's music, and despite what you bunch of morons say, it keeps selling. If it was, as you seem to suggest, rubbish and total drivel, no-one would buy it. But people keep her in the charts by buying her music because she keeps pumping out good music. And she keeps touring, giving the fans what they want!
You are all jealous of a talented, hard working and gorgeous woman. And yes, given the chance, I would!
Over the hill. Cheap photo stunts. No talent. Welcome to the world of make believe. Good marketing skills keep her at the top. There are better artists out there who are true stars but under rated.
