Madonna's turn as Eva Peron in Evita was a solid effort. Now for the bad news – it's a rare gem in a catalogue of bad performances. As a fencing instructor in Bond flick Die Another Day she was wretched, while her appearance in hubbie Guy Ritchie's horrific Swept Away was so awful she vowed never to act again. Phew.

I agree with Barbara (Stockport) and Boredsick (London) - of course I don't have to watch her, and don't, but I'm just so sick of even seeing pictures of her. She must be one of the most self-obsessed people in the business. Pity her children. At least Guy will soon be out of it.
Madge DOES lip sync. After Elton John outed her she actually sang live on TV. Her voice was horrible and weak. I was shocked to see how bad she is. Plus, her voice is dubbed over two or 3 times on every record to make her voice sound stronger. Just have a listen, you can hear it. She ought to dress better now that she 50. Cover up a bit more. She looks like a trollop. Having said that, I am sure her concerts are fantastic. If she came down here to switch on our Christmas lights I might just go and watch !!
