Forget your first snog. Forget leaving school. Everyone knows that the real turning point in early life is that crucially important first album purchase.
Do you have fond memories of the very first album you ever bought? Does it stand the test of time or does it make you cringe with shame?
Lynyrd Skynyrd's: one more from the road; and still my favourite!
My first album was a copy of Revolver by The Beatles. I got it when I was 5...Bear in mind when I was 5, it was 1981! After that came an ABBA Greatest Hits album. See, I have always had good taste :)
my firsy ever album was stomp by steps i didnt like it even then the last album was the clash - the singles so yopu can see why i didnt like steps
Probably a Tamla Motown LP.The finest music there,s ever been,Tamla, and Northern Soul, the all nighter scene, the "Three before eight",keeping the faith.Never to be beaten.
The first album i ever got was when i was about 6 or 7 for Xmas. It was a Sclub one. I listened to it loads but now i think Sclub is the worst and cheesiest band ever. And anyone who knows me knows i can't stand too much Cheese
