What’s going to be big in 2009?

There’s going to be new albums out from big atcs like Lily Allen, Jay Z, as well as gigs from Blur and Beyoncé.

Is any of it going to live up to the hype? What’s getting you excited next year?

I must be out of touch as I have never heard of half of those discussed and most of the others bar a few exceptions can't sing live. We need more new bands, who actually play instruments' sing and bounce about the stage. Simon Cowell think you could do band idol nx yr??

Stop all the nonsense about cheryl cole, she's a five minute wonder, nothing special about her at all, she can't sing that's for sure. There are plenty out there (girls) who are very good.

definately beyonce the most, she is amazingly talented. jls, neyo, the script, cheryl cole of course, alexandra burke, ke$ha - her debut single is amazing, one of the best songs i've heard in a while.
hopefully in 2010 we'll get some new artists - especially this years x factor winner! :)

I think Sophie Ellis Bextor will make it big when she releases her new album. P.S i think Virgin Media should put a few more of her music video's on their music on demand service for TV subscriners. there is only 3. murder on the dancefloor, Take me home and her recent collaboration with freemasons, Heartbreak (make me a dancer). she is a real good singer who is too undercredited.
