Joss Stone at the BRIT Awards 2007

Joss Stone at the BRIT Awards 2007

You can always rely on the BRIT Awards for at least one moment of toe-curling embarrassment. This year, it was young Devon-bred singer Joss Stone who upped the cringe factor, strutting about the stage in a day-glo dress and offering "big love" to the rehab-ensconced Robbie Williams, before attempting to upstage Amy Winehouse by singing a (clearly carefully-rehearsed) line from Rehab and cracking a lead-balloon joke about host Russell Brand. All, of course, delivered with a bizarre American twang.

What did you make of Joss Stone's guest appearance? Does she deserve the criticism that she's received?

    She actually scared me!
What the heck was going on? I thought for a moment she was gonna stage dive! She should stick to what she knows best...nothing!

Another case of too much fame too soon... it's ruined her.

Amy Winehouse is great, used to really like Joss Stone too. But that was just embarrassing to watch. Trying to outshine Amy Winehouse did not work at all. Preferred the shy girl from Devon she used to be!!
