Glastonbury festival is over for another year but the memories of mud and music will live long for many of the 177,500 punters who braved the weather. So, was the entertainment on offer worth suffering the pitiful weather for? Does the mother of all festivals maintain its spirit no matter what gets thrown at it? Share your memories.
Arctics,Kasabian,Killers,Kooks,Manics,Gossip,CSS,Who..etc..etc all in belting form.
Weller in wellies-never thought I'd see the day! Iggy flat on his ass and Phil Jupitus looking and sounding like an absolute jerk.
Just about got all the Glasto mud off me now! Arctic Monkeys were brilliant & also loved Maximo Park (I was right at the front for that one!) The mud was a little too much like hard work... trekkin thru it wasn't easy, at least I didn't fall down like many others. An experience for sure!
Glasto virgin, Had the time of my life despite the mud. Arctics were fabulous The who were outstanding but the biggest surprise was the Marley brothers Cant wait for next year.
I've just had the nicest shower and sleep in my life after being up since 3:30am trying to get back from Glasto and all the trains North were cancelled cus of flooding....here's to next year! Loved every minute!
Not even the rain and mud could have spoilt it. My highlight has to be The Killers-Brandon Flowers gold suit was amazing and they totally rocked. Kasabian came a close second-they really got the crowd going. Biggest surprise was Mark Ronson his mix of music and his front men made for an amazing gig. Roll on 2008!!!!!!
