Glastonbury festival is over for another year but the memories of mud and music will live long for many of the 177,500 punters who braved the weather. So, was the entertainment on offer worth suffering the pitiful weather for? Does the mother of all festivals maintain its spirit no matter what gets thrown at it? Share your memories.
A lot of Mediocre Pub bands with limited Musical ability.Arcade Fire,
Kaiser chiefs and The Who only acts that could handle it.
good ya
After seeing kasabian in December we decided to go to glasto for our tenth wedding aniversary no amount of mud or stinky loos could dampen the atmosphere of the crowds and the bands performances which were top class, unbelievable memories missing the place already! ultimately shattered though highlights had to be killers. the who , kasabian and the artic monkeys WOW x
This was my first glastonbury and i have one word....amazing!!!
Still cant face going through my rucksack of mud and im aching all over, but i wouldnt have changed a thing! Killers, Kaiser's all on top form. Pigeon Detectives and Modest Mouse amazing too.
Just about the worst Glastonbury ever. 21 years of attending and will be my last. Greed has taken over, £3 for a 99 ice cream, you've got to be joking ! ! Glastonbury trades on an image that is no longer there. Only those with high powered computers can get the tickets, very nice for Mr & Mrs Matching Kagoule. Usual safe bands as at other festivals gone is the real eccentricies of what Glastonbury use to be about. Hello safe and corporate world. I went to escape from the rip off mundane world of reality and now find it being imported to me.
