   It's possible that it will live up to the hype. The idea that Abrams was never much of a fan hasn't shone through so that it is no longer Star trek but he definately did his research in order to match it as well as he could. Looking to be an amazing film and the original series was by far the best even though Patrick Stewart is an awesome actor. =]
