2. WALL-E

Pixar outdid themselves once again with this tale of a trash-compacting robot left to tidy up a barren Earth once humanity have had their way with it. It's testament to the animators' attention-to-detail that, despite being almost entirely silent, WALL-E says more than any other film this year. An instant classic.
Why see it? Because kids films aren't always just for kids.

A film doesn't have to be full of speech to make it good! I personally thought it was a great film with a great storyline, which really captures your heart.

Sweeney Todd should take the number two slot before The Dark Knight, not a film which has less than 15 Minutes of human conversation.
