Hailed as the best comic-book adaptation of all time, slick camera work, thrilling visual effects, a darkly complex plot and some phenomenal acting make The Dark Knight the most grown-up and essential superhero movie to date.
Why see it? Heath Ledger's terrifying performance as the Joker is certain to secure him a posthumous Oscar.
WHY SO SERIOUS??????
Not a bad film but certainly not the "best"! Wouldn't have been nowhere near as big had Ledger not topped himself. Batman now like Bond, it's had it's day, how many films can they make around one character! To "NIGHTWRITER", Ledger's death wasn't tragic, just another "star" who couldn't accept the life "HE" had created for himself!!!
This is a GREAT MOVIE.Done to the original comic style gothic and dark.Heath Ledger (r.i.p) played the joker to perfection it's just a pity there killed of 2-face.No more to be said about this film except A FANTASTIC FILM A MUST BUY!!!!!!!!
this is easily the best film of 2008
everybody's performance in this film is epic.
this is one film that i could watch over and over again, and the writers, directors, actors should all be very proud of the work they put into this film because it sure as hell payed off.
A dark gritty roller coaster of a movie. Some truly fantastic acting and one amazing performance of pure pshycotic mania by Heath Ledger. Any true batman fan or movie buff just has to watch this movie. The plots and twists are worth the run time
My only disappointment was over the death of Harvey "Two Face" Dent. There was scope for a future movie with his character.
