The Flick-shaw: the world's smallest cinema!

In honour of this evening's Virgin Media Shorts award ceremony, we created the world's smallest cinema upon the back of a rickshaw and set it loose in London.

Tonight we'll be celebrating the finest new filmmakers in all the land at the Virgin Media Shorts awards ceremony 2009, showcasing the best short films of the year. There have been some cracking entries this year and we're very excited about seeing who'll bag the top prize of £30,000 of funding.

To spread the love, we came up with the idea for the Flick-shaw – a plush, two-seater cinema on the back of a rickshaw! Complete with surround sound, popcorn and drinks – plus VM Shorts judge Noel Clarke and two lovely usherettes – the Flick-shaw can be found speeding around London as we speak, showing the 12 short-listed movies up for tonight's awards.

The Flick-shaw will also be in attendance at tonight's ceremony at the BFI in Waterloo – stop by and catch a short film if you're in the area.
