Hundreds more speed cameras should be erected on street corners across the UK to enforce new 20mph speed limits, according to an influential government advisory group. Would this be a welcome move in residential areas, or would you oppose it?
20mph speed limits on streets is ridiculous.
We might as well get out and walk.
Speed camera's are just another excuse for ripping us off for even more tax.
We will be taxed for the air we breathe soon.
They should have a camera on every set of traffic lights to catch red light racers, and mobile phone users.
Speed cameras only slow people down for the camera, so are a complete waste of time and money.
YES YES YES...More speed cameras are needed. Keep on fining these speedsters until they get the message into their skulls that they are responsible for road safety.
It is NOT OK TO KILL just because you are a car driver....OK
speed camera profits go straight into goverment coffers, not to councils or police. we have a 20mph speed limit near our primary school and speed bumps but no cameras, wish we had.
There should be more CCTV cameras but of course, they do not bring in the revenue. I cannot drive at 20 mph. I lose concentration. I spend half my time looking down at the speedo and the other half looking around at the sights. These blasted people want to reduce us to the days of someone walking in front with a red flag.

Should there be speed cameras on every street corner?
