Are you worried by rising fuel costs?

Dozens of lorry drivers took to the streets this week in protest at record-high diesel prices, which have risen by 30 per cent over the last 12 months.

With oil Giants Shell and BP announcing huge profits in the first quarter, how can the high price of fuel be justified? Are the rising costs affecting you or your business? Is it enough to drive you off the road? Share your views.

Patty from Warwick about 70% of the price of fuel at the pump is TAX.
Everybody complains about the profits made by fuel companies but they are the ones making the investment of exploration plus the cost of refining & distribution etc. What do the government do? The just ROB us blind no invesment or anything just grab! Dick Turpin would have been impressed. Highwaymen used to be HANGED (now theres a thought)

I am extremely concerned. If the rate continues to rise as it is I will seriously need to consider giving up my car, which will mean giving up my job. I work on a farm in the country with no public transport facilities. I have a family to house and feed and need my job desperately. I am very, very, worried.

Of course I am concerned// The rising cost is due mainly to taxes imposed by greedy politicians. They are not affected, since they have expenses and award themselves with salary rises denied to the rest of us.
We may be suckers, but history has proved that suckers revolt eventually and win in the end. Beware 'Darling Alastaire' and Gormlxxx Bxstxxx Brown// The suckers may have a guillotine or two, hidden somewhere. once we wake up fully, to the crap you are dishing out, the whole of uk just might succumb to Anarchy
