Are you worried by rising fuel costs?

Dozens of lorry drivers took to the streets this week in protest at record-high diesel prices, which have risen by 30 per cent over the last 12 months.

With oil Giants Shell and BP announcing huge profits in the first quarter, how can the high price of fuel be justified? Are the rising costs affecting you or your business? Is it enough to drive you off the road? Share your views.

This talk of 'maybe'? not adding 2p in the next budget - yippee. Like thats going to make any difference whatsoever. I remember when it was 69p a litre not that long ago and I thought it was too expensive then. So 2p (maybe) - like an umbrella in a hurricane - useless!

I am dismayed at the present price of fuel bearing in mind that the tax burden is the greater part of the cost. But more importantly how did we become so dependant on the motor car for transporting working people to and from work .......................could this be because the public transport system is totally inadequate and we all know that this was allowed to happen because its a quick fix for the economy !

only by taking direct action....ie...total Gridlock of London for say 2 days and blockading of the refineries, will make this government sit up and listen. they should take 20p/litre tax off immediately or suffer the consequences.
Going into london in 20 truck convoys will be seen as no major disruption at all and the police/government remain in control of the situation.
