Are you worried by rising fuel costs?

Dozens of lorry drivers took to the streets this week in protest at record-high diesel prices, which have risen by 30 per cent over the last 12 months.

With oil Giants Shell and BP announcing huge profits in the first quarter, how can the high price of fuel be justified? Are the rising costs affecting you or your business? Is it enough to drive you off the road? Share your views.

I dont drive, too poor ,too old,, But the rise in price means that just about every thing will be more expensive, Most things have to be carried, usually by road.. Clothes, food, already some food stuffs are more expensive, basic things like bread , butter.. but we will cope I am sure..

Worried no...if we cant afford it we wont use it simple,we have become a nation of whingers and do not rise up to these companies or governments,if it goes up by another 50% what we gonna do,moan....some will still pay it if not all,and the uk government know it,juat like cigs, beer, cost of living etc,and the only thing I can think of, is will petrol/diesel etc make a dramatic drop to where it was last year, just when the labour party want to win the next election?...mmmm?

Yes I am, the government should have reduced the duty and tax as the price of crude went up this would have helped to keep fuel prices stable.
