Recent revelations that an unusually high percentage of all car accidents are involving those under 20 years old have reawakened calls to raise the driving test age from 17 to 18 and even higher. Is 17 old enough to be able to drive safely on the roads? Or would a change in the law help reduce the number of road accidents? Tell us what you think.
With the standard of driving / Instruction and it seems that any idiot can seem to pass a driving test and the age for holding full a licence should be raised maybe to 18 or 21. Now this will upset a lot of people to them '................................'!
tim from barwell... May I respectfully suggest that you use a spell checker. Agree with view on attitude... Seizing and crushing offender’s cars not a new idea, they have been doing this for some time.
i am a driving instructor, and the problem is not age but attitude. now it does not matter how old a driver is if they have a bad attitude to driving then they are a danger to others. a good way of dealing with this would be anyone court driving who shouldn`t be on the road or driving not in accordance with traffic law should have their car crushed. this will quickly remove the bad drivers. raising the age will only create more illeagal drivers.
I learn to drive when I was 11. I learnt to drive a tractor in the middle of a farm field. Then I took my driving test and past 1st time. I think that. A. You could start to teach car driving skills in the schools 1st. B the power output of the first cars should be limited. And. C. You could strap 10 year olds and upwards into a car seat on a ramp at a certain speed 10 mph?. So that they can feel what an accident in a car feels like. I have seen this done on T V,
no cuz evr1 want us to get a job but how can we!!!!
