Recent revelations that an unusually high percentage of all car accidents are involving those under 20 years old have reawakened calls to raise the driving test age from 17 to 18 and even higher. Is 17 old enough to be able to drive safely on the roads? Or would a change in the law help reduce the number of road accidents? Tell us what you think.
i agree with corsa boy let them drive a small engined car with no power. for at least 2 years nothing more than an 800cc limeted to 50 mph. that will slow the buggers down
Young kids are posers and thick showing off thinking they look good, don't look good to me. Raise the age I say, and it ought to be like the bike test, limit the boy racers to a very small cc engine for the first couple of years, it will be greener also. The kids go out to pose as often as they can, the older ones use them as an when needed.
