With news today that 71% of British employees travel to work by car, and that those in the north-west of England have the most dangerous journeys to work by road, we want to know about your commuting experiences. How long does it take you to get to work? What’s the worst experience you’ve had? Share your commuting nightmares.
Hi guys and gals, If you want to see some good road planning, take a look at the new Millau bridge (E11 expressway) Barcelona to Paris, It's got the highest bridge piers ever constructed...tallest is 787ft high ....overall height 1102 ft. Heart-stopping!! Would'nt like to be in a trffic jam up there. Well :-( just thought I'd change the subject from bottoms and poop to a higher one lol.
I used to commute and it took me half hour to walk to the train station - wait for the delayed train that would arive... whenever.
Travel the hour by train to work, and walk another 20 mins. NIGHTMARE!
Getting home commuting was worse! Had to work later to avoid the "rush" and still stand for half an hour at the platform waiting for yet anohter delayed train. Then the half hour walk home, that time of night was dangerous!
I've had creeps follow me, and trying to attack me.
No thanks! I traded in my rail card, bought a car and now it's not only cheaper for me to tax, insure and run the car, but i'm usually at work within 30 mins - 45 depending on traffic. It's also a damn site safer!
I ment Claire I dont know why I said Logic then sorry about that.
Sorry Logic I thought you were Kathy from St Austell because she liked to talk about poopies and I thought seeing as we are not shy I thought we could discuss bodily functions.
