The Lexus LS460 was last week awarded the 2007 World Car Of The Year title, beating over twenty challengers including the latest Audi and Mini. But would it have been your choice? What would you have gone for? Tell us what you think.
The best car of all time as far as I am concerned is the Pug 505 - why oh why did I ever get rid of mine. If any manufacturer is reading this then please take note. I would like a car that seats 7, has a boot you can actually get a pram and shopping in, is both reliable and economical and is also fun to drive. Surely someone could produce such a car - a modern 505??????????
Why would you want to win this award? The Fiat Multipla won it a couple of years ago!!! It may seat 6 fully grown adults, but you'd be hard pushed to get 6 adults of sound mind in the thing.
Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe. Small, cheap(ish), simple, fun to drive, and somehow they've managed to shoehorn an electronic folding hard roof into the boot without sacrificing any space whatsoever. A true driver's car.
i think lexus have got dead boring trying to morph into some audi cross beemer.fair play it might be reliable but it just doesnt have the 'prestige'.....
with so many new wonderful inovative designs it must have been a very difficult decision, one of which i respect and acknowledge. lexus do build quality cars with exceptional technological advances, and with the l-fa and is-f due out soon will further their campaign for inovative creativity. jaquar appear to have created a wonderful looking s-type replacement with the c-xf, which hopefully will turn their fortunes around along with the new xk8, well worth a mention and hopefully in next years award nominations.it will be interesting to see if the new jaguar xf delivers on all fronts as the anticipation for it's launch/arrival is driving me to all four wheels?, it looks fantastic.
