The recent Sexy Green Car Show at the Eden Project in Cornwall would seem to show that, far from being the fusty eco-boxes of popular mythology, green-friendly cars can be slinky road maestros too. But how true is that? Would the newer designs persuade you to swap to an eco-friendly, bio-ethanol-powered car? Or is green just plain unstylish? Tell us what you think.
I think green technology exists, but will never be allowed, while Bush an oil man,and the powerful oil companies are allowed to suppress it,why arent governments sponsoring this technology, because they have too much to lose,in taxes, and the power oil allows them to have
Yes they can. Let's have them now please.
I'd love to be able to bycycle everywhere but climate and distance dictates otherwise. The car is a necessity. I'd feel alot better about the world if I could afford to buy a "green" car.
Note: We've had fuel cell technology since the 1960's moon landings why so slow to get that mainstream... answer?
The Oil companies are making too much money from fossil fuels to allow us all to drive the cars that the planet needs us to have.
yes if they are green i would but the best is not here yet. as this is a years away the one that will recyle its own gases and never need to go to a petrol station ever again.
We need to be very careful about these new bio fuels which could wreck the world's agriculture by replacing food production with grains for alcohol etc. It's difficult enough for farmers to make a living nowadays
Yes they can! My Prius is the best car I've ever had...it is plenty fast enough and accelerates really well and I can travel twice as far as most petrol cars per gallon. I hate this macho tyre squealing image that Top Gear promotes....sports cars in general are old hat
