The recent Sexy Green Car Show at the Eden Project in Cornwall would seem to show that, far from being the fusty eco-boxes of popular mythology, green-friendly cars can be slinky road maestros too. But how true is that? Would the newer designs persuade you to swap to an eco-friendly, bio-ethanol-powered car? Or is green just plain unstylish? Tell us what you think.
i admit it i drive an elderly cavalier turbo diesel but it does have endearing factors,it is regularly serviced,it gives me more mpg than petrol
emmisions are well within limits,i am looking at running it on bio diesel, and its big and comfortable not bad for a 16 yr old car.so why would i want to buy something which i cant fit my family into?
i dont so there.
JC from London - 1967 MG Roadster in British Racing Green ... come on, that's gotta get your pulse going.
How sad what kind of wierdo thinks cars are sexy! Cars are not sexy no matter how green. They are hunks of metal and plastic designed to get the user from A to B with relative ease and comfort.
no black is a much better colour
The green technology is already here. Drive more slowly, drive a car with a smaller engine.
Every litre of petrol used converts to a fixed amount of CO2 out of the exhaust. Cars don't manufacture carbon. Simple chemistry.
Pity the whole debate ignores simple facts like that.
