   People that 'rat-run' down small residential streets like mine. Many dont give a toss for residents or children who may be in the road as they come flying down. Its all about 'them' and their getting to their destination a couple of seconds faster. Anyone gets in their way - TOUGH - I'M BIGGER THAN YOU IN MY BIG STEEL BOX AND ILL RUN YOU DOWN is their simple minded attitude.

   Here's a comment rather than something that winds me up. Who, other than we British, could have rules whereby a straight zebra crossing with a central refuge is treated as two separate crosings, whilst a pelican crossing similarly laid out is classed as only one?
