With some car taxes set to double within a year, do you think the Chancellor's 2007 Budget is fair to car drivers?

Nothing this government is / has done is fair. If they stopped giving £££ away to other countries and sorted out our own first, taxes wouldnt have to be so high. I for one dont like being taxed up to the hilt so "Brown & Co" can give it away Willy Nilly.

set the car tax based on income......then people like gordon brown would know what it feels like , and it wouldn`t hit the lower earners as badly . at the moment , you can drive what you want, where you want as long as you can afford it....london can be priced so that only the fatcats can afford to enter...nice clear roads , park anywhere....all lower earners .....public transport , you don`t earn enough ! , it`s getting like russia (communist) where they have roads just for the wealthy to move around freely
