With some car taxes set to double within a year, do you think the Chancellor's 2007 Budget is fair to car drivers?
yes virgin give us a vote on the next election lets see how well brown will do put it to the vote what do the readers think
Virgin give us a vote on who's not voting Labour at the next election?
Iihaledepply from YorkStreet, arn't you being a little selfish there sunshine some of us are Disabled in this world and learnning to walk is not an option.
labour have hammered the motorist from day one, what they forget is every motorist is a voter and they will pay the price at the elections. All these motoring taxes DO NOT affect the rich.
Simple pay as you go we buy gas water electricity by useage so put 10p on a litre of fuel and scrap the road fund licence no more having to catch tax dodgers as they will pay as they go too .If we have to stay with tax disc's then the banding system should start from 2009 when people can choose there engine size rather than catching people out now like the government has done .I ride a 100cc motorbike it costs £15 per year road tax free town parking no queues and if you know how to do it free fuel as well (blend of chemicals. not by stealing)all this begs the question how much in the pound do we really pay income tax .plus you have to add in car tax ,fuel tax, and a whole host of other taxes that we pay so of a pound how much do you see .it's a little bit here a little bit there but it adds up
