The Pre-Budget Report is expected to see Value Added Tax cut from 17.5% to 15% as part of a £15 to £20 billion "fiscal stimulus" to encourage spending and spur economic growth. The Chancellor is also said to be unveiling the plan for a 45% top rate on people earning at least £150,000 a year. Will a 2.5% VAT cut make any difference to how much you spend this Xmas?
I NEVER BUY ADULT GIFTS, XMAS IS ALL ABOUT KIDS, I onLY BUY FOR MY DAUGHTER, NEICES AND NEPHEWS. ECT. WE HAVE AN AGREEMENT AMOUNST THE FAMILY, AND HAVE STUCK TO IT FOR YEARS. NOT onLY SAVES MonEY, BUT SAVES YOU BUYING UNWANTED GIFTS.

God bless those who still have pride and save for the things they want and fcuk those who made this country the credit black hole it is now, ps dont blame the banks they arent a charity to bail your lazy arses out.
TO OAP FROM TV SOAPS. No i am not a Lib Dem, and i am not a HE. My state pension IS £38.89P PER WEEK. Why? because i stayed at home and brought my two children up PROPERLY, therefor i did not pay enough stamps, so today my pension is penalised. Should have been a claimant of the handouts.......would be having the good life now !!!!!
